I have old and dingy black and white tiles in my bathroom and wanted to know how to tile over tile with something more modern and fresh?

No you may not "tile over tile." The old flooring must be removed. The sub floor needs to be cleaned up or replaced so you have a clean, solid surface for the tile to set and be stable.
I would not recommend tiling over tile. If the original tile breaks down, so will your new tile. It's best to tear out the old and replace it with new. Or if the tile is in great shape, but you don't like the color, you can always paint it.

these are not vynal tiles , i dont think you can paint them . I think the paint
would peel up with the water and humidity.???
these are porcelin tiles, they don't break down...... they are just dingy, can you
use peel and stick tiles over them - have you tried peel and stick tiles before?
