Apply a generous amount of Mod Podge on to the furniture. Use a sponge brush. Then put the poster on it. Then add another coat of Mod Podge. You can cut the poster in sections and apply the same way.
ModPodge....just like Cindy said. But rough up the surface if it has a sheen or a poly finish so the paper adheres well and doesn't bubble after drying. Use an old credit card to smooth any air bubbles before appling last ModPodge coat.
