Unfortunately, most "furniture polishes" build up. Use a spray bottle with water and just 3 drops dishsoap in it. Mist furniture and buff dry. This won't cut the buildup immediately, but it will over time
A soapy microfiber cloth will remove most, if not all of it. Rinse with a clean, damp microfiber cloth and then buff dry with another. Go with the grain.

If it's was, mix white vinegar and water 50/50. Put it on a soft cloth and wipe the table with the grain.

Use Awesome cleaner from the Dollar store. it is a great degreaser and all purpose cleaner.
