Hi, I would like to have suggestions on how to clean my sofa and two chairs which are on my outdoor, under roof, area. I can’t hose them because it would never dry so I’m thinking maybe an upholstery cleaner or using wrung out towels that I wet in some cleaning solution. They look a little dingy. Anyone have experience with this?
If it is sunbrella fabric you can toss it in a pool that has chlorine and it will clean it right up. I have also heard of people pressure washing the cushions and leaving them in the sun to dry.
Do not pressure wash it ruins the fabric. The steamer will work great. If you can move the cushions into the sun to dry.Oh an Blue Magic or Purple Power is the best.
I, too, simply use my rug shampooer upholstery attachment. I usually don't use much cleaning solution but feel the hot water steam freshens the cushions up each season. I just use on the surfaces that are exposed.

I bring mine to the laundromat and use their giant industrial washers with regular laundry soap and Borax then dry them in an electric clothes dryer.
That's a thought!

Spot Shot upholstery cleaner would be my best recommendation.
If you have access to a rug steamer with an upholstery attachment, that's what I use.
OMG, I have a great steamer and it had not occurred to me. I think that is what I'll try before doing anything else~!
Ana....I have used Blue Magic,..it can be purchased at AutoZone.
