Use vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray it on the mold and let it sit for an hour. Wipe clean, repeat if necessary.

White vinegar will kill the mold spores. Make sure you wear protection for your eyes and a ventilation mask for your lungs to prevent breathing in as you clean.
Wipe everything down and clean thoroughly. Although the vinegar kills the mold, it won't remove the stains. Rinse multiple times after spores are killed. Then you can tackle the stains.
You didn't say what type of surface but if it's paintable, Kilz Original will block the stains.

Tara....I agree with the vinegar and now that the leak is fixed I believe the vinegar will work for you.
If you have an aversion to vinegar (some can't stand the smell) hydrogen peroxide works well, too.
