Try dipping them in water with oxyclean
Mary....Can you use a Q-tip and dip in bleach with water and dab...white ornaments only of course.
Try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
Be cautious with bleach as it can remove color/eat through the stitching! I would make a solution of OxyClean and hot water to remove the spots.
Hi ! I like the magic eraser idea !
if that doesn't work , get a carpet cleaner called Folex , I found it at home depot for around $6 . This works on everything !!! I keep some in a spray bottle in my laundry room !!! And hands down the best carpet cleaner for both spot cleaning and for use in a carpet cleaning machine ! Good luck !
Hello Mary,
You could try Wet Wipes or a cotton bud.......
The Oxyclean is a hydrogen based bleach and is better for this purpose than regular bleach. I would make a solution and gently dab the darkened spots with a Q-tip dipped in this.
Thank you all for tour replies. I tried the OxyClean solution and it worked beautifully. These ornaments are over 30 years old and look like new! Thank you again!
Try a tooth brush and dish soap and do the spots then rinse with a towel spot by spot
