How can I remove mildew from linoleum basement floors?
I had these rubber mats on my basemen tile linoleum floor or my treadmill & exercise bike. I just removed them because it was smelled really bad and I found out that there is a lot of mildew stains on the floor. Is there an easy way to get rid of the mildew? What product should I use to get rid of the mildew?

Vinegar and water will kill the mold/mildew. You may need a dehumidifier in your basement to reduce moisture and prevent mildew from forming.
Dorothy...Pine-sol should work plus leave a nice smell....good luck
Concrobium Mold Control. Bought it at Home Depot or Lowes. Best and easiest way to get rid of mold.
Any product with bleach will get rid of the mildew , just make sure you open a window or door to ventilated the area . Also you need to find out why you had mildew build up there , in the first place . Mold / mildew needs damp conditions to grow , find out where the water or dampness is coming from . You might consider getting a dehumidifier . Good luck !

I often use the bathroom sprays with bleach—- if there is no threat for color removal on your surface.
Hi Dorothy - This is the shower cleaner that we use to help keep grout and tiles clean and minimize the mildew. I've also included a great article about mold if it's gone that far. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
