How do I get a burn mark out of an linoleum floor?
I had a very hot Pyrex dish explode and the glass landed on my linoleum floor and put a bad burn mark in it. Does anyone know how to get it out so I don’t have to put in a whole new floor

sure hope you didn't get hurt during that explosion
Your homeowner's insurance should cover that.
I once had a Pyrex dish explode, and although it did not burn my flooring, I did contact Pyrex head office, and they compensated me. You may want to try contacting them to see what their response may be to your situation.

Hi, Sharon!
If you happen to have a piece of the linoleum, the burned section can be cut out and replaced with a new piece secured with contact cement. It would have to be a tight fit to keep debris out of the seams... The above suggestions about contacting Pyrex and your homeowners insurance are also great options! I hope this helps!

Take a photo to the flooring department of your home improvement store and ask for their advice on products and methods to repair this so you get a good match.
