I like Lysol's Lime and Rust remover, especially if the "rust" stains are from hard water. Hope this helps!

I also use baking soda for rust
Lyme Away works too and is $1. Wear gloves and work fast with the fan on.
If the faucet is causing the rust, look into replacing the pipe inside the faucet.
Spray with wd40 and leave for about 30minutes then rub it off with a sponge scourer.
CLR should do the trick unless it’s a chip in cast iron. That would need repairing.
