How can I upcycle wood slats from disassembled crates?
We have some really thin wooden crate slats that are the weight of balsa wood. I took the crates apart by cutting the metal wires that held the slats in place. Any ideas for the wood slats, measuring 4" X 20", we have 15 of them.

Hi there, we use scraps of balsa wood to make these easy frames - https://acraftymix.com/blog/easiest-diy-frames-ever/
Sometimes it is better to build up a store of supplies and tools. My husband picks up every piece of useful wood he sees at our town transfer station. . . he doesn't necessarily have a project in mind but he stores the wood till inspiration strikes. These old boards stored behind our tool shed eventually became this plant stand for wintering over some plants.
