Which wood flooring would look good with paneled walls?

I have walls in den. Need to replace vinyl flooring. Want to wood vinyl. But what color and pattern?

Hi Carol, this is Peggy. Most flooring places will either loan or give you a piece of flooring. You can lay it down next to your walls and try it morning sun, and when it gets dark to see how you like it. Good luck with your project.
You can pick up free samples of vinyl wood-look flooring at Home Depot. Pick ones you think you would like and take them home and put them next to your walls and see how they look.

I agree with getting a few samples of different colors and lay them out and see how they look in daylight, dusk, and night with artificial light.
I am in a log cabin and in some rooms wish to beak up all the wood tones that cause contribute darkness. So happy the previous homeowner put paneling over the bedroom log walls and painted it for a room brightening aid.
