How can I keep my linens from balling up in the dryer?
I have been doing laundry for many years, but when I wash my sheets the fitted sheet ends up with all the other sheets and pillow cases inside. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I have to take all the sheets out and separate them after drying, the sheets in the fitted sheet ball are still damp. Thanks

Sounds like you are overloading your dryer and when they turn the sheets are getting tangled. Also when you take them out of the washer, shake them so the sheets are not tangled putting them into the dryer.
Using a few dryer balls should help. You can buy commercial ones or make your own by crushing aluminum foil into a good-sized ball and adding several to your dryer.
I have had it happen, too. I shake each piece out before putting just the sheets and pillowcases in the dryer. If it remains a problem you can dry the bottom sheet separately.
I dry my fitted sheet by itself because of this very problem. It's the only solution I've found.
Try using a laundry bag , I have one for socks and a bigger one for delicate stuff
I tried drying just the bottom sheet and the top sheet in the dryer and it works so much better.....before I had pillow cases and some underwear in with them and the small stuff was all balled up in the corner of the fitted sheet. From now on...just the two sheets will be in the dryer.
I use dryer balls also, but made of yarn, not aluminum foil. On the yarn balls I sprinkle a little of my favorite essential oil to make the sheets smell nice too.
