How do I clean out odors from my refrigerator?
I have a dorm size fridge as a extra fridge. The hydro was off here due to bad weather. When the hydro came back on it flipped on and off about 12 times before it stayed on. I never went into the fridge until about 1 or 2 weeks later. I did not realize the hydro problem must have blown the motor of the fridge. Now there is a weird smell in the fridge. I have baking soda in it plus a dish of vinegar but the smell is still there. Is there anything else I can do?

Try using charcoal briquettes wrapped in newspaper.
Or wash the fridge with lemon and water and leave the door open.

Fill A Sock With Coffee Grounds To Get Rid Of Fridge Odors!
The interior plastic walls absorb odors and it's very difficult to get rid of this. I would empty the fridge, wash down the walls and use an ozone machine to treat it. You can rent them from any tool rental facility. The ozone should penetrate the plastic and destroy the odors.
We had a chest freezer that got unplugged by accident. It was on our enclosed front porch and not accessed everyday so it was a while before the problem was discovered. Everything had thawed. After cleaning it out, it was left with an awful smell. After trying several methods, what worked for me was crumpled up newspaper and regular charcoal briquettes. I donāt remember how long it took, but probably at least a week to get rid of the smell.
I use coffee grinds and it seems to get rid of the smell after a bit.
I have used Frebreeze spray in a few clients frigs and it worked great.
Could you leave the door open to air it out? I would try cleaning it again with lemon juice and water
Have you tried coffee grounds in a nylon? that's what i always used when we had change of duty for our refrigerator and freezer. worked great!
baking soda!
A box of baking soda absorbs most odors. If that doesn't work, try this cleaner: https://amzn.to/38TUiYg

I would wipe the inside down with vinegar and keep the door open. Good luck!
