Sometimes wax can help. Or you may have to do a bit of sanding to smoothen things out. Here's a link that could help

Grease the tracks. If they're all wood, you can use ivory soap to do the trick.
Hi Linda the fluctuations of humidity can make drawers a pain in the butt to use all year. I've added a coat of vaseline to some of my drawers before and that's helped a lot. I've also removed my drawers (especially on the really old pieces of furniture) and hit them with my orbitol palm sander, taking just enough down to give them a bit more room.
Linda: you may want to try rubbing either a bar of soap on them -- or the side of a candle.
Take the drawer out and sand the edges that ride on the rails and bottoms until they glide smoothly. Rub the edges with a candle or use dry spray lubricant.
Beeswax, candle, or bar soap rubbed along the tracks should take care of the issue if it is only a friction issue.
If the wood has swollen you might need to lightly sand the areas to make them ease in & out. Be careful to do this in small steps as not to over sand.
Hi Linda, sorry you are having problems with your dresser drawers. I hope these ideas will help you.
