What is your project?
Without knowing the show it's hard to say which one is was. Try searching for the show and see of you can identify it. Another option is to try Amazon or local craft stores and look at the ones they have in stock.
Is it a special kind of glue gun for a specific project? That may help us try to find it for you. As seen on tv brand? something else?
Have you consider just doing an image search on Google, or going to a place like Amazon and scrolling through the visual inventory there? Best wishes trying to find the glue gun you’re looking for.
I did one of the Hometalk TV shows and I used a Ryobi hot glue gun. You can find it here - https://amzn.to/2PWqUcR

I use a cordless glue gun and I got it at Hobby Lobby. I think it is the best, because you don't have to worry about a cord. Do you remember the show it was on?
Just Google! Here is a link reviewing the best.
