Hello there,
Buy clear polythene storage boxes with lids. They stack, some even have rollers. Best wishes.
Hi Rhonda, I think first and foremost you will be so happy when you go through all items and really see what you need to keep. I just did it this past week and wow it feels good to clean out. You will be amazed at how much room you suddenly have. so 3 piles, giveaway, maybe donate, and keep. Your maybe's can be stored somewhere else (underbed storage etc.). Just get it out of the closet. When you see how long you can live without it and don't bother wearing it, it makes it easier to give away in a couple of months. But once again, you gain more room in your closet. As for the boots, do you have any area where you can put a shoe rack? Or anywhere that you can do this:

The belts, I am assuming you might be wearing only 25% of all that. Usually we tend to grab our favorite stuff. So when you narrow all that down, check out this idea:

As for the baseball hats, do you have anywhere in the walk in closet where you can put little command hooks so you can hang them (only the hats you keep) up on the wall. If there is no wall space, what about those ceiling command hooks. You might have ceiling space that the hats you don't wear often can hang.
Just throwing out ideas to make your life easier in your closet.
Remember, if you are finding stuff you forgot you had, you won't miss it when it's gone because it didn't trigger memories in your possession. Food for thought! Good luck

Hi ! This is just off the top of my head , so I have not tried it !.... I was thinking , could you buy a wall standard , the kind you attach to the wall to put up wire shelving , then attach clips to all the little holes ...another thought , maybe easier...hang a length of chain and use s books .....Good luck !
You can use shower hooks on a hanger for the baseball caps. Or attach towel racks to the wall and hand the shower hooks from them.

Hello. I would review one of the many cap organizers you can find an in retail venues.
Here’s a link for one —you might want to look at the page for other alternatives. As far as boots I would suggest finding a Plastic shoebox bin to put them in and stack them in orderly fashion. Hope this helps.

To give yourself more room, switch to flocked hangers that can be cascaded. As for ball caps, you can hook them to each other hanging down. I put command hooks on the wall for my husband's caps, but he only has around 20. You can hang 3 on each hook. As for work boots, I did a boot tray which holds 3 pairs. I don't have them in the closet because of the smell, so they are in the laundry room.
Hi Rhonda, you can make a hanger for the hats by picking up some clothespins and wire coat hangers, see attached picture. For work boots., use the cube storage, it will provide the correct height you need.
Glue wooden clothes pins, clamp end downward, on your closet door for the hats. Use a wall mounted paper towel holder with shower curtain hooks on it to hang belts.
