There is spray paint made specifically for plastic outdoor furniture. I would clean the furniture really well, then spray them in even coats.
Clean and dry thoroughly. Pressure wash or use a high pressure wand on your garden hose. Then you can use a spray paint formulated for wicker to paint. I would check Krylon and RustOleum brands. I've had very good experiences with both of these on outdoor furniture.
You should be able to use spray paint on your plastic wicker furniture. I have used it on plastic deck chairs. It will last a few years especially if your furniture is in a covered deck or out of really direct hot sun. This link can help you with what paint to buy.

Rustoleum spray paint made for plastics.
You would want a spray paint that works on resin or plastic, there are many spray paints available at diy stores, so you have to be selective. RustOleum and Krylon work well as Kathy stated.
Just wash and dry your furniture to make it ready for the spray paint. Allow up to 24 hours before use.
Hello Bunny,
I would use Rustoleum spray paint too. It's made for the job.
Yes reustoleum is my choice!! But try to sand the plastic down a little so the paint adheres well.
A paint sprayer or spray paint gets in all the nooks and crannies. Over the years I have cleaned them with a scrub brush, cleaner, and painted them an assortment of pretty colors. I'm afraid a power washer would damage mine.

I wondered how to get in the nooks and crannies. Thank you to all who have responded -- so very helpful. Appreciatively,
Plastic Friendly spray paint. I painted a set of texture pd Adirondack chairs sucessfully.
Hi ! Rustoleum makes a spray paint for outdoor plastic furniture . I would buy a cleaner first and clean them well first and let them dry completely . Then when you spray paint the wicker , use light coats , to avoid dripping , do several light coats for better coverage and a nicer finish .
