How to remove spray paint from a tile floor?
My daughter used spray paint an stained the kitchen floor. Does anyone have advice on how to remove paint from the tile?
Is this like a spill or were the tiles painted? If it's a spill and it's latex or acrylic, dribble some water on it, let it sit, then scrape with a putty knife. If the floor was painted, that's a lot more involved and trickier, probably involving stripping.
Hello. What type of kitchen floor do you have ceramic or linoleum?
And what type of paint is on the tiles is it acrylic or oil based or some sort of enamel?
If it’s an acrylic paint on your floor sometimes is soaking a paper towel moistened with water will soften the acrylic paints up enough to be able to peel it off or scrape it off with a depleted credit card or gift card. Are use a ceramic dinner plate all the time as a pallette for my acrylic canvas paint jobs. The paint will come off slide off with the water contact.
How To: Remove Paint from Tile (3 methods)

If it's a solid tile - eg ceramic or stone not vinyl - you can use a scraper or a razor blade to carefully remove paint.
Plastic scraper first. If it's actual tile, you could probably use steel wool as well.
The tiles are ceramic
The paint is spots from painting the walls and ceiling. I believe the paint is a basic flat Benjamin Moore paint. They are mostly thin smears. I will try the credit card. Thanks for your suggestions
Are they fully painted or is it paint splatter?
Goof Off is used to clean paint spatters from OOOPS.
Is it just a splatter? To remove paint from tile, the most common method is using a razor blade and scraping the old paint away. An Xacto knife helps you hold onto the razor blade safely while maintaining a good angle. Hold the blade at a 45-degree angle and gently scrape the paint from the tile

Start with the plastic card and see if that works, if you find you need to step it up use a single edge razor blade. As Carrie suggested, the Xacto knife will give you a good grip and a proper angle to remove the paint.
use a razor and scrape it off
Here's a post that might help - https://homeguides.sfgate.com/paint-off-ceramic-tile-floor-20249.html
Try a plastic scrubby and hot water see if that works
I'd also try using Goof Off!
