I'd use a vinegar based glass cleaner and a soft cloth.
Tiled works great liquid comet Clorox cleanup use a plastic scrubby to clean tile. Then squeegee dry so no water stains
Hi Beth, One of the easiest ways to clean glass tiles to a sparkling shine is with equal parts water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture on and leave it for approximately 10 minutes. To get rid of soap scum or stains caused by hard water, rub tiles with a soft cloth or brush, rinse with cold water, then wipe dry.
Once you get them cleaned up, may I suggest you put a coat of RainX on them, it will help repel the water and reduce the staining it leaves. One further step you can take is to use a squeegee on the tiles after showering, it keeps you r shower looking neat and clean, and reduces the build up of scum and hard water on the tiles! Hope this helps you
Make a solution of vinegar and water in equal proportions. Mix it up and pour it into a spray bottle. Spray it on the tiles and allow the solution to sit for 5-10 minutes. With the help of a soft bristled brush, clean the tiles, thoroughly. An old toothbrush can also be used to clean grout. Now, rinse it with cold water; the tiles should sparkle like they’re brand new. Dry the surface with a piece of cloth to prevent water streaks.
Any soft cleaner should work OK. It is always a good idea to use a squeegee after showers to prevent water spots and added work in the future.
You are going to need to scrub it and scrub the grout between the tiles.
Glass tiles are usually pretty durable. If it is water spots I would try something like CLR to remove the calcium. Test a small area first.
Hello. Use your favorite shower cleaner with attention to squeegeeing or drying off the glass tiles if hard water circumstances are present.
I use Aunt Fanny's vinegar spray. I also squeegee after every shower. If you have soapy residue, any shampoo soaped up on a microfiber cloth will work it loose. Good luck and stay well!
I would avoid vinegar if the tiles are grouted as vinegar dissolves and will etch grout. You might try Bar Keeper’s Friend foaming spray.
Hello Beth,
If you wipe it down with Wash Liquid and a sponge, then rinse with clear water, and then dry it with the damp towel every time you shower you will not have the problem. In the meantime try using white toothpaste - not gel............Best wishes
Dow Scrubbing Bubbles works great. That is what I use.
Hi I would use not water first to loosen up any soapy residue then use a window cleaner . I would also get a squee gee and keep it in or next to the shower and use it each time you shower . I use a product called repel on my glass doors , it is a glass polish , to be used on already clean glass doors . I use it once a month , it helps repel water and water stains .
I have a glass back splash in my kitchen. You have several options - you can clean with Castile or Dawn soap and water mixture, vinegar and water mixture, or rubbing alcohol. You can find my tutorials on these here -

You can use vinegar on glass. However, you need to be cautious of the medium used to put them together. Usually it's either silicone or mortar (similar to grout). You should make sure it has been sealed.
To be on the safe side, you might go with wet & forget shower.
