The easiest way to clean an oven is sto place a glass bowl filled with ammonia into the oven overnight. DO NOT preheat or turn the oven on. Just let the ammonia sit overnight, then remove it and wipe the oven down well with hot soapy water. For burned on spots that haven't softened, apply a pase of Dawn dishwashing soap and baking soda, scrub well and rinse, rinse, rinse. A final rinse with water and viengar mixted 1:1 should do the trick.
