Hi Helen, all you need is rubbing alcohol (99 percent alcohol volume) aloe vera gel and an essential oil. Lavender, eucalyptus and tea tree oil are both good choices. Mix 1 part aloe vera and 2 parts rubbing alcohol and then add a few drops of your essential oil of choice. If you prefer your hand sanitizer thicker you can add more aloe vera gel.
Hi Helen - The CDC recommends washing your hands first, and also alcohol in hand sanitizer, however it's not always appropriate for some folks. This one is made without alcohol if that is an option for you. It's super easy and takes approximately 30 seconds to make. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

Aloe vera gel and alcohol with a very high percentage; Everclear works in a pinch. i'm sorry but I don't remember how much of each you'll need.
