What does it weigh?
It's a window weight from old double hung windows. Only thing I can think of is paint it with different colors or patterns and use it as a door stop.
Malina: my guess is a marine water sinker of sorts. (It might look good hung on a patio)

I'm assuming the pics were taken on a chair seat and back so the weight isn't veery large. Paint it up in a wild variety of colors and use it as a conversation piece on a coffee table or as a part of a centerpiece for a small dining table. If you do craft projects it could hold light items in place., such as one end of fabric while cutting out a pattern, etc.
You could make some windchimes and use that as the anchoring base
You can hang it from a rope in your home somewhere and could even spray paint it a different color.
