Paint color to go with burlap shower curtain!
My small bath has brown tile floor and white board and batten half way up the wall. I made a burlap shower curtain. Need suggestions for what color to paint the top half of the walls. Thanks so much!

Hello, I would go with a creamy white tone.

a light brown beige would look nice
You have so many Solid, neutrals going on - how about Adding some color and pattern with wallpaper?
Apricot or something with a pattern to it.
Keep in mind that a darker wall color absorbs light more than a lighter color, resulting in a dimmer looking room. A room may appear smaller and more 'closed in' as well with walls of a darker color.
Hello Bonnie,
Is the shower area fully tiled? If you want to introduce colour to that area you could look at tile covers. You could then take one of the colours in the tile covers to help you decide. Can I also ask if you are using the burlap as an outer cover for the shower curtain, as I am worried because Burlap will absorb steam and moisture?
If the room were mine, I would keep it all white and just add Orange or Lime /green or /gold /turquoise in the way of Towels and accessories rather than colour the walls. You could always add colour around a bathroom mirror or add a piece of art!. Hope that helps you.
A pop of color would be nice. Turquoise always looks pretty against burlap.
Bonnie: I think a soft blue would go well with white and burlap!
Whatever color you like, but sure the paint is a latex enamel to resist moisture.
White or a cool blue shade would look nice.
You have a lot of brown tones in there so I would go with a Very light cream color that way you can decorate with any colors
You will get as many answers as a box of crayons! The question is what do YOU like. Tans and browns are neutrals so ANY color will go with them. Do you want to stay tonal or go with a burst of color? Go with turquoise if you want a beachy feel. Go with a light peach if you want warm and tropical. Go with green if you want to feel like nature. Add a few new towels in the same color of a floor mat.
How about a pretty burnt orange
Hi! Different colors appear different on a wall depending on artificial and natural light. Try some samples on the wall. My personal choice with all those brown tones would be a warm color like peach or apricot. You could use virtually any color depending on the light in a room. The darker the color, the more it absorbs the light. The lighter, creamier shades reflect more light. Try the samples first, as you may surprise yourself. I was very undecided about a bathroom, until I was at my daughter's house and realized how much I liked her gray walls. It's been years and I still love the bathroom painted gray. Good luck and stay safe!
Creamy white or green.
