How to re-weave an outdoor chair with new thin plastic whicker?
My outdoor foot stool and matching small table are falling apart. I purchased the plastic wire, however, I cannot find instructions even on YouTube. All instructions are using a wide plastic wire and my furniture has very fine plastic.

Here's a couple of videos showing how to repair patio furniture by reweaving. The same technique is used to weave thin strands as with the flatter strands.

If any of the above do not help, then please post a picture of the damaged portion of your chairs so we can see how they are made, and the plastic wire that you purchased so that we can see what you have to work with.

Hello Eileen,
You would use the same method, know matter the size of the wire (Weave and out ) to form a basket effect.........Best wishes.
