How did you want to use a pegboard for quilting? I am just not sure what you are asking. You can buy mats that are already marked with rulers and grids to make your cutting and sizing easier when you quilt. A good rotary cutter and a mat ruler are also very helpful quilting tools. I can't think of a way to use a pegboard for quilting except to organize all your quilting tools on a wall. Some people have decorated pegboards in a quilting pattern to hang in their sewing rooms!

Hi Bert. My sister makes quilts and she uses what looks like a giant piece of felt to organize and design her pieces. Once she puts a piece on it, it doesn't move at all. I hope this helps you. Good luck Bert. Stay healthy and well.
Hi! I've only seen them done on frames. How would a pegboard work?

Are you talking about using a peg board for storing quilting items? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCc7gJYtmdQ
I used pegbouard all over my available walls to hang rulers, scissors, rotary cutters and spools of thread. I cut the pegboard to fit the area, added a spacer piece all along the backside edge before connecting to the wall with screws. I wanted a more finished look so added some trim around the edges too. I ordered metal hangers in various sizes from an online store site as these held up better than dowels. Too bad I can't add photos to show you. Also if I needed to piece 2 sections of pegboard I added a trim piece down the center to hide where they met up. I also spray painted one side white before connecting to the walls. The reason for the spacer piece behind the pegboard is so when you put your metal hooks in you didn't hit the wall behind. Only takes say a 1inch piece of wood. Mine has held up for 9 years now.
Did you want something like this: https://www.anniescatalog.com/detail.html?code=413783&source=QLTSEMG&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw-C90OrH6QIVx8DACh37TAO5EAQYAiABEgLq2vD_BwE
If so, it looks like a large piece of flannel on the wall, so I imagine you could buy your own flannel and hang it up for a nice design wall feature!
Awesome for organizing:
