Spray paint (after cleaning) is my go-to solution. Sand off any rust spots first.
This is a very good site. If you scroll down just a little they talk about paint specifically,.

Those Rustoleum hammered metal finishes are so easy because the texture hides spray oops. I have done my storm door, porch lamps, plastic pots and more. be sure to tape and cover things well where you done want a gust of wind to take the paint.
I agree that spray paint is the best choice, and just be sure to use a sealer over it to help the paint hold up in the weather. Good luck!
You can spray paint them.
Use a good brand intended for metal like Rustoleum. It holds up well. Cover and tape well anything you don't want to get the paint on. Make sure it is clean and dry before painting. Good luck and stay safe!
I just did this over Memorial Day weekend. Use a wire brush to knock off any rusty patches then scrub and rinse well. When dry I used rustolem primer and paint in one to spray all the furniture. Use several light coats and then seal. Heavier coats of spray paint tend to run or be to thick to mode a smooth surface. Also wear gloves, it’s messy!
I would spray paint it with outdoor paint
