Rag wreath protection?
I received a beautiful rag wreath for my front door. The problem is that it faces south and when it’s hot and sunny I’m afraid it’ll fade. Can anyone recommend a product to eliminate the fading? Thank you!

You can buy a spray on fabric protector from Scotch Brand.
Scoth Guard Fabric protector, available at Amazon and diy stores.

You can try and prevent the wreath from fading but the sun is a powerful force! Could you decide to use it in cooler seasons so it will stay pretty!
I would recommend spraying it with a UV clear coat spray paint.
I think it probably will fade no matter what you do. Do you have a different door you could put it on and keep one that is made of something else on this door? Or only have it out in winter when there's less sun or something.
That’s a great question, I am so frustrated about my garden flags, mailbox flags fading in less than one season. I have taken to paint my own flags on canvas dropcloth fabric.
You might try this product. Sounds like it might work, but I haven't tried it.

Hi Chris,
My advice would be to give it some shade of some sort - a small canopy or a plant to take away direct sunlight! Best of luck.............
Scotchguard spray will help the fabric to repel water, and to help keep it from absorbing dirt. It will not protect the fabric from fading.
