How to get rid of Air in outside faucets?
So many spurts of air in outside faucets,i can't use my pressure washer.Not any air in inside plumbing.
Where is the faucet leaking? From the valve, from the gasket? From the pipe?

If it's leaking around the handle, tighten the nut under the handle.
Is it a leaky hose? You might need to replace the hose.

Hi Shirley. Check all your screws to be sure they are on properly - Righty Tighty - Lefty Lucy. Also check the gasket to be sure you have a nice tight fit. Good luck Shirley.
If the hose is attached when it leaks, the connector on the hose may have a dent or bad seal. If it leaks when nothing is attached, you need to check everything on the faucet. Worse case scenario, the faucet could have been damaged during the cold weather. If it isn't shutting off all the way, you have a shutoff for it in your basement that you can shut off until you repair or replace it . Good luck and stay safe!

Usually it’s the washer and gasket that got stripped and. They need to be replaced.you will need to shut water off inside the house and take the spigot off to see the washer inside
