I have old vinyl flooring (I admit it is over 15 years old and looks dull).
For a general cleaning To add shine to your vinyl floor, add a few drops of baby oil to the vinegar and water solution. For stubborn scuffs, try putting some WD-40 lubricant or jojoba oil on a towel and rub the area until the scuffs disappear. Clean thoroughly with the vinegar and water solution to remove any traces of lubrication. Some people prefer to use mineral oil.
Since it's old, it probably has a lot of old wax on it. Mix a cup of vinegar in a gallon of hot water and mop it. Rinse with clean water.
great. I will try it
No. We like to use the Bona products. Looking over the reviews and Q&A’s on Amazon might give you some more information to make an informed for the purchase.
Sometimes it yellows with age and that can’t be cleaned off. Is that what you’re seeing?

Hi Theresa. One of the best cleansers for vinyl flooring is apple cider vinegar. The acidity in the vinegar helps remove dirt and grime without leaving a buildup of soap or wax. Mix one cup of apple cider vinegar with a gallon of hot water. Use a damp mop to clean, rinsing the mop frequently with hot water. I hope this helps you Theresa. Good luck.
will give it a try thanks
If something like flash doesn't work for your floor, then maybe Crud cutter will do it.

Hi Theresa: My mom had vinyl floors with stains. When I cleaned them, I used 1 cup of white vinegar mixed with a 1/2 pail of warm water. For the cruddy areas, I wet some paper towels and put them on the stains and left them for about 20 minutes (keep checking on them). Then, scrub the area. To keep the floors shiny, I added a couple of drops (no more than 4 or 5 to keep from slipping) to the water. Good luck
1 cup white vinegar 1 cup baking soda 1 tbsp blue dawn 2 gallons hot water. Mop liberally.
if there is grooves with dirt use a clean broom to scrub with the mop water.
