How do I remove grease marks on clothing?
After taking out the trash I noticed 3 vertical stripes of grease. I put Dawn on it and the stripes were less prominent but still there. I would appreciate any solutions. I did fine the corresponding grease marks-on my trash can so I cleaned it off. Everyone stay healthy!

Oxyclean. Use tge warmest water your fabric can handle. Do not dry in dryer...check to make sure it cones out in one wash. Also, I believe in distilled white vinegar for everything! If grease does not come out, spray with vinegar.
Coca cola also works
Hi,
Look in the washing isle of supermarket for Stain Devil for grease! Best of luck! You could try using Bio Washing powder first!
I use the pretreatment from the Dollar Tree (Awesome), let it soak into the grease. Then wash as usual in the hottest water you use on you garment. Oxyclean will also help. As Patty said, do not dry in the dryer until the grease is out.

For best results, find a dish soap that is specifically labeled for dissolving oil since these often have a special type of oil-eating bacteria as an ingredient.
Your clothing should be grease-free after a single wash, but you can repeat the process again if it's not. DO NOT PUT IN DRYER AS THIS WILL SET THE STAIN.
For fresh stains:
Use baby powder, chalk or corn starch as soon as you're able, put a small amount powder all over the fresh grease stains on your clothing. The powder is fine enough that it will fill in the crevices between the fibers, and absorb the grease. Leave the baby powder to 'soak' for 10-15 minutes, and then brush it off. If the grease is still faintly visible, toss it in the washing machine under cold water. The combination should do the trick, and by the time the clothing has dried, there should be no trace of grease left.
Make a salt and rubbing alcohol mix. This solution works best for stains on thicker fabrics, such as denim or linen. Mix together one part salt with three parts rubbing alcohol, and then pour it onto the grease stain. Use a soft cloth to rub the mixture into the stain, working it into the fibers. Allow the solution to soak for 10-15 minutes, and then wash your clothing as you normally would. By the time the clothing has been washed and dried, there should be a missing grease spot.
Try rubbing Fels Naptha on the marks and scrubbing. That, along with blue Dawn, should take care of it.
I had a grease spot on a shirt that I couldn't get out. I had washed the shirt several times and finally layed the shirt out on a flat surface and covered the stain in baking soda. After a day or so, I shook off the baking soda and added new baking soda. After doing this a few times, the baking soda completely removed the grease stain. It's worth a try.

I would try the Dawn again, it usually works. Maybe work it into the fabric with a small brush.
It worked great-thanks!
Resolved! Thank you for the wonderful advice. I got the grease out. I'll save the advice in case I need it again.
