How do I set up an easy semi permanent fence for cheap?
I don't have photos, but I rent a singlewide space in a mobile home park. We want to makeover the small yard area, as we want some space for outdoor activities. The space is approx 10' x 12' and surrounded on 3 sides, 2 sides by our home and our neighbors, with a chain link fence running along the back. The fence has wild rose bushes growing along it. We would like to have a small lawn and potentially a flower bed but there's 2 things that have kept us from sinking the money into it. 1) The wind. We live in a climate where the wind almost never stops blowing and so we are constantly picking up trash that has blown into the dandelion field we call a yard. And 2) animals. Because we live in a park it's not uncommon to have dogs or cats hanging around. We love animals and don't mind them, but we don't want to spend money on landscaping only to have it dug up. So we need a fence. But with renting the space, and needing to get under the home from time to time, I don't want anything permanent. I've seen several types of temp vinyl fencing, but they're both too expensive, and look like the wind would be a problem as they are basically big vinyl sheets staked into the ground. What might be a solution that is cheap, effective, and not totally ugly? Thanks in advance!

Possibly some well positioned poles with a fabric or canvas style separation might even double as a movie screen or area for art.

This semi-permanent fencing looks like a great option and could go with you should you move!

Maybe you can check out fake grass for the rather small area. Even though it might seem expensive in the long haul it might be a bargain. Also, if you contact ccompanies who install this, they may have some leftovers they'd sell to you for a great price. They could recommend if landscape fabric is needed underneath. Some of it looks very real and would green up your space with little care needed.
Perhaps you could do something similar to this surround of the HVAC unit:

We used to use roll fencing for our garden with metal posts that pushed into the ground. It was easy to roll back up for winter. Good luck and stay safe!

You could fill the PVC with gravel or sand if you need them to be heavier.
About your small yard in the mobile home park, it sounds like you've got a couple of challenges on your hands. How about using wooden pallets to create a semi-permanent fence? You can often find pallets for free or at a low cost, and they can provide a rustic look to your yard. Stand them upright, secure them together, and you've got yourself a barrier that should deter the wind and keep out unwanted guests. You can even plant some flowers or vines in the gaps to make it more visually appealing.
Well, I've been in a similar boat while considering home improvements myself, especially when it comes to Vinyl fencing options.
