Why?
Kara S - Why do you add glue to your paint when painting on windows (glass pane)? Can you not just use acrylic paint or glass paint?

Glue adds a sheen to your acrylic paint: Since many acrylic paints are more matte, when combined with a pouring medium made of semi-gloss glue and water you get a shinier result when dried.
I used to paint my front window with regular acrylic paint and it worked fine. I would use a scraper to scrap it off and repaint. I think the glue helps give the paint a smoother/milky look as apposed to plaint acrylic paint.
It is better to add a transparent acrylic gel and extender of you really want a more translucent look. It will also give you the most durable and best quality finish. Glue isn't really formulated to mix into acrylic paints. But no acrylic paint really wants to bond to glass. There are enamels that can bake on and bond better to a glass surface.
Hi Brenda, you may want to ask your question directly on the post that it is referring too that way the person could tell you for sure why they used it. (in case it is for a specific reason).
Thanks

Something has to help the paint bond to the glass.
