I recently updated my old kitchen walls with a warm ivory color since we are getting ready to sell. A light gray would have been an alternative. I've had it different colors over the years, but, my favorites have all been warmer colors that looked nice with the oak. Good luck and stay safe!

I think it’s going to depend on colors you like as well as how much natural light there is in the room. Pop by a paint store and grab a bunch of swatches, tape them up and look at them at different times of day. That should help you narrow it down.
