Does the vinegar & epsom salt weed killer kill the roots too or just the above ground part of the weed?

- the depth of the roots
- and how aggressive the weeds are

If you douse the weeds with the solution very well, they roots should also be killed. A good way to insure the roots are gone is to pull away the the dead weeds roots and all. The weed killer will also decrease any growth in the immediate future.

Hi Tina, the Epsom salt crystals absorb all the moisture from the plant so it should kill the roots too, unless you've had lots of rain to replace the moisture since you applied the mix
