Essential Oil Diffuser With Water Beads
Learn how to use a kids toy to create a pretty essential oil diffuser. Grab a few simple supplies and follow this tutorial to create your own.
Grab a glass jar with a lid, I prefer a plastic lid like the one show.
You will also need water beads and an essential oil of your choice.
You will also need a drill, a large bowl and water.
Water beads are a unique sensory toy for kids. You put a tablespoon in a bowl of water and they swell up to be large round squishy beads.
Kids can play with these beads, you can even make stress balls using balloons.
But I'm showing you how to use these in a beautiful home decor piece.
Soak the water beads in a bowl of water for a few hours until the swell up to this size.
Meanwhile, drill a few holes in the lid of your jar. This will allow the scent to escape into the air.
Fill the jar with water beads and top with a few drops of your favorite oil. Screw on the lid and you have a diffuser.
You will need to add more oil now and then as the scent fades. But the beads will stay as is for a very long time.
A gorgeous DIY oil diffuser for your home.
