Hi, you can actually use any paint on fabric and it will wear well. You can always add a little glitter to the wet paint to add a little bling. I love snowflakes!! You can keep them out all winter long :) Have fun!

I’m sure you could track down some glittery fabric paint at a fabric or craft store. Use some white first then dab on the glittery.
I searched the phrase "magic stencil paint" and got nothing. Is that the brand name of the paint?
Hello, you can easily make a snow texture paint with this recipe, Mix 4 parts white paint, 7 parts sand and 1 part craft glue in a cleaned jelly jar or other jar of choice. The mixture is thick. You can increase/ decrease the thickness by adding or reducing the amount of sand in your recipe. Apply with a flat paint brush or a small spatula on your item.
Yes, Deb's recipe would work. I mix concrete mixtures all the time with glue to get special textured effects on projects. For something as loose as snow...that recipe would work great! If you want to add sparkle with it, just mix some very fine glitter it into it. The glue will hold everything together.
I have stenciled on fabric and you can see my tutorial here - https://chascrazycreations.com/upcycling-a-serving-tray/
You could brush the sparkle on with a paint brush or spray it on michaels crafts sells both
Hi K'ren,
Maybe Sparkle Nail Varnish or Sparkle Mod Podge etc.
Hello. Some of those fabric paints in the squeeze bottles are pretty awesome to use for sparkle. You may want to do a two part application of a white stencil fabric paint and then put the sparkle on top for a frosted design to add depth and shimmer. Congratulations on getting this headstart —this is very inspiring.
Can you explain more here is how to stencil on fabric https://www.stencilrevolution.com/blogs/tutorials/how-to-stencil-on-fabric
Add Epson Salt into your paint. That's how I had class rooms of children paint various projects in their art class. I was the Room Mom for my kid's classes in elementary and jr. high schools. That was a long time ago and I still miss those times. It's especially nice that those same kids remember me when they see me around town. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
Hi K'ren,
Maybe dip the brush in sparkle and then into paint, or Paint and then sprinkle the sparkle and let it dry! Hope that helps.
