Need idea of a dining set in my new house.?
I'm thinking of looking for a brown counter height dining set with white leather chairs in this kitchen spot. Can I get some other ideas 💡?

I think a round table would fit best in this space - counter height or regular height. Congrats on your new home!
We took an old table and made it into island and then we popped a few red wooden chairs around it for color. You can peek at it if you like. https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2013/06/decorating-cheats-farmhouse-table.html
It looks like the perfect spot for a round table. Great for traffic flow around it - and conversation when seated. One with leaves means you can expand it when needed
I will say that a counter height table will block the view more down into your family room. Keep that in mind. Looks like it is rather dark, I might go with something a little lighter. Here are a couple of ideas:
Round Table
Rectangular One
Round Two
Rectangular Two
Rectangular Three

Many years ago I inherited a home that had white leather furniture in it. And never again. The stuff is very hard to keep clean and is cold in the winter and sticky hot in the summer. Plus if you have pets (especially cats) they seem to like the feel of the leather under their claws.
But back to the subject at hand. I would be careful not to block the sliding glass door at all.
I prefer round tables and if they have a leaf you could use when needed even better.
But the round shape mean no shape corners and if you have kids that can be important.
I have always been a fan or using wood tones that do not match. So it seems this spot is screaming for a light wood table to contrast the dark wood you already have.
I too think a lighter color of table would look good, you have a fair bit of dark wood already there.
It looks like a perfect place for a backless banquet with a narrow rectangle table. You could probably get three chairs on the front side that you could keep pushed in when not in use.
I would put a dining set where the railing is next to the lower level. Any other location would be an obstruction to the patio doors, stairs to lower level, and stairs going up.
A small pub-style table would work well in the confined area. Either round or square would work and not take up too much spaceand keep the various areas accessible. Here's a link. There's some round tables and if you scroll down a bit ou'll see some white stools with chrome legs that you might like.
