Can I make DARK teal, peach, and sage green work?
Trying not to repaint my living room that currently has dark teal walls. The room is pretty dark and need life and light. I love the idea of floral prints and a sage green couch with accents of peach. Any ideas how to make this idea blend or should I chunk it and start over?

Hi April teal and peach are a pretty classic color combination. I would focus on any additions being very light. Look for prints that include both colors plus an arrange of other light colors to bring a feeling or more spaciousness and light into the room. Here's a couple of random photos I found on amazon doing a search for teal and peach rooms.
Just use peach as the accent color like with some throw pillows or art with some peach in it
Hi April, the color combination you want can be very pretty together. I'd suggest locating a large design with the three colors included on a white background to use as pillows, draperies, throws, etc. to tie all three colors together. Accessories such as planters, lamps, or lampshades in the lighter colors to offset the dramatic teal walls. Maybe brighter bulbs in the light fixtures would help as wel.
Thanks all. I have decided to paint the walls. It's a bit too dramatic for the desired overall feel of the home. It's just gotta go.
If you do use those colors choose shades from the same spot on the sample.
It actually sounds very pretty. If it isn't already, I would paint the ceiling and trim white.
Sounds striking. I would suggest looking to the fabric store for an accent pillow print to incorporate your desired colors.
A picture would help tremendously. What one person calls teal another calls blue or turquoise or steel. No way to know what the true color is. True teal and peach and sage don't sound like a good combo. A green teal yes, a true blue teal no. The peach and sage green sound great. Post a picture. click on the camera here on the bottom left of your post and attach a photo so we can actually see the color of the walls.
Hi April, since you have the dart teal walls and they are already painted, you could buy some peach floral material and cover some pillows . You could also buy some sage green material and cover your couch or paint it. If you hate it you can always start again. Buying material or paint is cheaper than buying a new couch. Good luck
Yes I love that combo!
Had to lighten the teal 3 shades. Too much contrast between the existing shade of green I had.
Yes, you could make it work. You could use those as your main colors and accent with neutral tones
Lots of cream and beige would help. You could use it in throw pillows for your sofa, and maybe some large vases
