Yes, it can be used on walls, just keep in mind that it may not hold up well in bathrooms and other rooms with moisture because the joints between the tiles are not waterproof.

Faux Shiplap Peel and Stick Wood Paneled Wall
I used self-stick groutable floor tile as a temporary backsplash in my kitchen until I found a tile/tile design I wanted to use. It was a fast & easy diy job and looked great even though I never grouted it. But you'll need to add some strong adhesive on the tile---the self-stick is just not strong enough on a vertical surface (my walls were newly painted and level/flush but still needed a stronger adhesive). I loved how it looked but finally removed them and had the backsplash professionally tiled a couple years later.
Here is some good info to help:

It will stick but don't count on it staying in place. I used some peel and stick tile as a back splash and they kept falling off.
I had washed the area before applying and dried it but the tiles didn't have enough adhesive on the back to hold them in place. I didn't want to glob more glue on the backs so I could take them down easily.
Yes, it can. Here's a link to someone that did it:

I don't see why not - you may need to add some extra adhesive since the floor applications don't have to content with gravity pulling them off.
As long as you prep the wall and de-gloss the finish it should. Maybe even prime first. Hardly anything likes to stick to gloss finished surfaces. I don't use self stick products though, trowel on some liquid nails then pressure roll them on with a laminate roller is the best way in my experience.
Yes, but I would recommend using vinyl flooring adhesive. Peel & stick flooring is notorious for coming loose after a while but if you add the adhesive, you should not have issues. The kind I use has instructions to let it get tacky before applying the tiles.
No, it’s pressure activated so it’s very hard to get it to stick to a vertical surface. Try a product that is made specifically for walla
Hi this is Peggy. Yes, . Hope this helps. While self-stick vinyl tile is generally used on floors, you can use it to dress up a wall in most rooms and enhance your home decor. Just keep in mind that the joints in between the tiles aren't waterproof, making the vinyl tiles a poor choice for bathrooms and other areas with moisture.
