How to make a chunky blanket?
I'd like to make chunky blankets for Christmas gifts. But I have PD and YouTube tutorials (even for beginners) are way to fast for me. Any suggestions? I can get the 1st row but starting the second row baffles me.

When watching a video tutorial, I often stop the video and re-watch one part before moving on.
My friend Lynn has a tutorial and she's a great teacher - videos for each step too: https://nourishandnestle.com/diy-chunky-knit-blanket/
Here is a beginner's video I found. After watching it, I'm thinking I might make one. You can also post questions on the video which may be the most helpful thing. Also, check to see if there are any classes at a local crafting store. Many of them are doing zoom classes, I'm signed up for one in December. If you can't do a live class, they have them recorded so you can pause & rewind as well. Good luck with your project.
This tutorial really breaks it down, I hope it helps! I've always wanted to try it too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzEUh7RJ2H8
Hello. This link might be helpful. I find very often with your YouTube and doing a new craft project to stop and start the video is very helpful.
