How can I remove burnt material from my iron?
I must have ironed something and burnt it, therefore, it left the iron with burnt marks.

Hello. I have seen ironing cleaner at the supermarket it is in a very small tube for a few dollars.
It resembles toothpaste. I’ve also used white toothpaste to achieve the very same function.

Turn on the iron, Rub a bar of soap over the burnt area. Then iron it off on a rag and repeat as necessary. Good luck! Done this from time to time over the years.

try a magic eraser when it is dry
I clean mine with salt. Put down a towel and sprinkle coarse sea salt onto it. Turn iron max temp, no steam, and iron over the salt. It will basically scrub gently the soleplate. Wipe with a clean, camp cloth to get all salt residue off.
