Find a small pot and use plaster of paris to make a new base for the tree.

I apologize for not going into detail. One of the wedges for the base was missing once unpacked and could not find it. I used a 2 large popsicle sticks glues together and made a wedge that fit into the slot. But now, I am going to get a small pot and put some soil or small peebles to brace the tree up. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hello can you post a picture or give us more description on the repairs as needed. I find epoxy putty to be in that a valuable tool to help fix my things indoors and outdoors and I’m not too sure what your problem is.

Using your popsicle sticks or possibly a paint stir stick and the epoxy putty you might have a replacement faux stand leg.

What type of material is it made of and what is wrong with it? In general, you can mix an epoxy for the specific material to mend a cracked or broken area. I've also had great experiences with E6000.

Are you talking about a Christmas tree stand? Here are some common problems people have encountered, really the quickest and easiest solution would be to just replace it.:

  • Very often they use plastic for the base and those parts can break. If that's the case, you might try gluing it with super glue or E6000.

    • You could even use plaster of paris in a small bucket for the tree, but keep in mind it will be permanent.

you could put it in a basket and use something to weigh it down in the basket

What is wrong with it? You could possibly make a replacement.

We're confused. Send us some pics, please.

Yes, we read that your popsicle stick base repair is apparently working, but you don't say that's the problem.

You go on to write about another topic- a pot with soil/pebbles to brace the tree up.
