No Sew Felt Snowflake Pillow Cover
Dress up your home for winter with a cute snowflake pillow. No fancy tools required, learn a new technique and use it to create all kinds of pillows.
A simple gray and white snowflake pillow is a perfect decoration for winter.
Here is what you will need.
A blank pillow cover like this one These covers can fit over any throw pillow you already have.
A piece of white felt
Heat n Bond
Snowflake printed on copy paper
Pencil
Scissors
Iron
Find a print a snowflake shape you like and cut it out.
Open your package of heat n bond and cut a piece just smaller than your felt. Heat n bond is a heat activated adhesive. Lay the shiny side down on top of the felt and iron in place.
Then trace the snowflake onto the paper backing.
Then cut out the snowflake, cut through the heat n bond and felt.
When you are done, pull the paper backing off to reveal a shiny side. Lay the snowflake shiny side down onto the pillow cover and iron in place.
Cover with a tea towel to protect the felt.
Then stuff a throw pillow inside the pillow cover and you are done.
This technique can be sued for any season or holiday. Just find an image you like, cut it out and trace it onto felt and heat n bond.
I hope you are inspired to create some new pillows for your home.

I love the graphic simplicity of this image!
Probably would still do a stitch around the design to make sure it is washable and it would add another layer of detail- metallic thread maybe?
