I use Young Living Thieves cleaner to clean our refrigerator
I wipe mine with soapy water made from blue dawn. If there is a strong smell try making a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to scrub with.
Take everything out, use warm soapy water, I like Blue Dawn. If there is stuck on food, wet the area and let it set to loosen. For the shelves, I put them in the sink with them standing up and wash both sides, using an old toothbrush to get into the tiny spaces where something has dripped. Rinse them and stand them upright on a towel on the floor.
Straight white vinegar. I live alone so it stays relatively neat, yet still wipe out before every shopping trip.
I wipe up any spills when they happen and the periodically, wash the inside with hot, soapy water, removing the shelves and bins to be washed also. The same goes for the door, empty the containers and wash everything.

To start cleaning your refrigerator, empty all the items and placing them on a counter or table while you clean. Take out the shelving, drawers and any other removable parts.
Next, wash removable parts like shelves and drawers by hand with hot, soapy water and dry with a clean towel. Do not run cold glass shelves or drawers under hot water as the glass can crack. Let them come down to room temperature first.
The inside of the refrigerator needs to be cleaned and sanitized. Wipe the inside of the empty refrigerator with hot, soapy water, and wipe with clean water to rinse off the soap. Don’t forget to wipe inside the refrigerator doors and any drawers that can’t be removed. Dry everything with a clean towel.
To sanitize, use a solution of 1 tablespoon of liquid bleach to 1 gallon of water. It should be done only after cleaning with hot, soapy water.
Last, return the shelves, drawers and food into the refrigerator. Wipe food and drink containers with hot, soapy water before returning to the clean refrigerator. Once you have finished cleaning, wash your hands with soap and water, wash any towels used to dry the refrigerator before using them again, and use hot, soapy water to wipe kitchen counters that you placed food, drinks, refrigerator parts and any cleaning materials.
It's important to note that this should all be done within two hours as you do not want to leave unrefrigerated food out for more than two hours.
I take a spray bottle and fill with white vinegar and spray the walls, shelves, doors etc and then wipe it dry - it will help with odors and get it all clean without using a toxic chemical I use old towels I have cut into rags
OOOh, love starting the year with a clean house. https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/uk/house-and-home/household-advice/a684998/how-clean-is-your-fridge/
If you want to deep clean, take everything out, the remove shelves individually and wash them by hand. The drawers will need to be pulled out and handwashed. You may need to clean them in the tub if they are large.
Vinegar on the glass surfaces, warm soapy water on everything else and I remove anything that will come out and bathe it in the sink!
Most refrigerators you can take the shelves out and wash them with soapy water and dry. Sometimes when I don't feel like taking out the shelves (they can be difficult to get back in), I use them with a mostly all natural all surface cleaner (mine is from Grove.)
This video shows how to remove refrigerator shelves to clean them.
This is a good tutorial on how to do a deep clean for a refrigerator.
Hello. I like to take everything out and wipe the interior glass shelves and bins out with a sanitizing Lysol solution.
Hot soapy water and a cloth and wipe it out
Another thought, once you get it clean you can put down dollar place mats or food safe liner. Then you can pull it out and scrub when you have a spill in the future. I recently had a red jello spill and it saved me a bit of scrubbing.
I usually take stuff out, wipe things down, and wash removable shelves and drawers in warm soapy water.
I love the sprays you buy in the supermarkets. I buy one that has a vanilla smell so it cleans and makes my fridge smell good.
