Add a wreath or change the trim color would make a difference. You could add decor like a welcome sign.

If it's all brick, just painting the archway brick will make it stand out. If it's wood, a contrasting color may look nice.
Chances are the house is wood framed with brick exterior. The door frame should be screwed or nailed to frame of structure. It may be destroyed to remove.

Try adding some foliage, outdoors you can add a nice hardy vine plant it close to the brick, indoors, you could use a tropical vine in pots on each side to crawl or a faux vines, hope these help
I lean towards staining brick instead of painting it. Painting is believed to protect brickwork better but requires more regular upkeep. Certain types of brick also resist paint sticking to them, so it can peel and end up looking terrible.
Since we don't know exactly what your front entrance looks like, I would suggest you look for similar styles on Google Images to see you could find one you like. It may require structural changes or just paint or decor, but you'll definitely find your style there.

problem and a lot might want to buy your old door and frame?
A simple solution would be to paint the door with a pop of color like yellow or turquoise.
You’re looking to change the door look? You can paint it and that will dramatically change the look easily.
