Painting faux leather?
I LOVE to do DIY projects (or try to) on everything! I've just heard of painting upholstery & loved the piece you shared when you did a chair & free handed flowers on the back. Do you think your process would work on faux leather furniture or would the sanding be to harsh? Thanks Danielle 🎨

Hi Danielle, it sounds like your question is possibly for a specific post. If you are able to find the post, you can ask your question directly at the bottom of the post, and that way the author of the post will see your question and be able to answer it. Try to find the original post and ask your question there, they will be glad to answer. Another way is to go to the top of the page and type in your question with a few basic words, then click on projects. Best to you.
Hi Danielle, in order to have that person answer your question, go to her project and ask there. That way, she is sure to see it and answer you.
Try the search bar at the top left to seek out that original post you were reading and ask the original author there at the bottom of the post. As this is the general forum, it's hard to know what project you were looking at.
You need to go to the original post to ask a question or comment

Yes but don’t sand the material
Hello,
Faux Leather will eventually crumble from the backing with age, and there is nothing you can do but to rub it all off and then paint or re-upholster or use Stretch Covers to put over it . Sorry Tried it myself on a small project and really you are never done with the stuff crumbling off.
Are you looking to paint it as decor or you still want to use it on a daily basis?
Thank you everyone on helping to inform me about how to ask a question about a certain project. I thought I had done it correctly. Either way, I had my question answered by one of this friendly group! Thanks again Danielle
