Hi Karen, you shouldn't have any problem painting the faux brick at all. Depending on what the brick made out of will depend on which paint works best.

Hi Karen, yes you can. I would look for a good quality latex paint. It's not going turn yellow over time, like oil paints will and most of the time has low VOC (volatile organic compounds)
Hi Karen. Choose a water-based acrylic paint intended for interior use. Paint your bricks as you would any other interior wall. You can even use the same roller you used to prime the bricks to paint them as well. Use a thicker nap on your roller. Good luck Karen and may this new year bring you health, wealth, and happiness.
Hi Karen,
I would tend to use a Masonry paint or Flat paint to still look like Bricks, but if you are not that bothered use a Satin finish paint.
We painted faux subway tile for our old backsplash. You could do faux brick the same week- https://www.charlestoncrafted.com/brand-new-backsplash/

You could paint it, but once started there is no turning back. It will take several coats to cover well. Good Luck
Yes, you absolutely can and I've seen people do it with chalk paint.
