Yes we have a cute little chimenea like that too! We keep it on our deck and purchased a heat pad specifically to protect the deck. I find the pit isn't the problem its sparks and stuff that might pop out of the pit that could provide the hazard.
They sell heavy duty floor protectors for indoor free standing fire places and pellet stoves etc. If it'll work inside of a home it will work for a deck lol They run around $100
I would put down a small hearth to be on the safe side. You could do a few of the cheap pavers, 2 or 4 max should be sufficient, just to get it off the wood.
No, the heat from the bottom of this could set your deck on fire.
I would not recommend putting it on a wood deck. It's a fire hazard.
It would not be wise to use this on a deck, best to use it in an area that's not such a fire hazard.
I am not comfortable putting that on a wooden deck. If you do this anyway I would buy some sort of fire proof pad to under under it. A fire pit spark screen is also a VERY good idea.
But wood and fire just don't mix.
you could buy a mat for grills, etc to place under it since it has feet on it and wouldn't be sitting directly on the deck

Put down some patio blocks on the deck then the chimenea on top of them.
Hello. It would be a fire hazard to a wooden or composite deck with its very low profile. A fire protective covering might need to be considered. It also could warp vinyl rails if it was too close to pickets.
No
I would not put it near anything combustible, sparks do fly.
A few years back we had an above ground 4-legged fire pit on bricks in the back yard, I decided to burn twigs 1 day while hubby was at work. The small burning ends broke off and the dead grass between the bricks caught on fire, 360 degrees. The flames were low but it was smoldering, there just happened to be an ambulance was going by on the main road and decided to see where the smoke was coming from. They found me frantically trying to douse the fire on the bricks. Now here comes the Fire Dept and they put it out in no time flat. We were lucky, I gave away the Fire pit the next day and generously donated to the Fire Dept. Lesson learned.
I have one n use it on my wood deck all the time. Mine is a bit taller but I have a piece of wood I place under it which I have watered down. I place bricks on this and slide it under. My water hose is stored less than 10 feet away. No problems.
I would not place that fireplace directly on the wooden deck .. it needs to stand on the stone , thick stone platform
