How to whiten unsealed marble?
HELP...I bought honed marble mosaic tiles for my bathroom. As they dried, some stayed nice and white w/gray veining and others turned a brownish color so it looks bad. This has NOT been sealed or grouted yet so I'm hoping there is a way to whiten the dark tiles. Any suggestions?

I answered you on the other post - see if you can determine what die lot is the majority of your flooring. I suspect you've got tiles from more than 1 die lot. The best solution is to remove those that don't match and replace them with tiles from the same die lot as the majority of the floor.
Marble darkens when wet (and not sealed). How long have you waited for it to dry? It may just need to dry out longer! 🤞

Why was it not grouted and sealed? At this point, call out a natural stone specialist and see if they can be salvaged by cleaning, grouting and sealing. You just learned a vey valuable lesson, this is not a project to be completed piecemeal. Hoping your marble tile can be saved. Keep us posted!

Where did you buy these at? I don't think marble can be lightened, just cleaned. It looks like it is more than just dirt, but the actual color of the marble. I would see if you can replace the browned ones with lighter ones.
Where did you buy these? I would check with the store and see if this is "normal" or they sent you some of the wrong shade or how they can help you fix this.
I’d give the tile shop a call or swing by with a well lit photo. Are you sure this isn’t how it’s supposed to be? From this photo is looks like the natural variations of marble but if it’s not right, the tile store or manufacturer might be your best remedy.
