Floral anything is so perfect for Spring and Easter decorating! These gorgeous cottage floral eggs are created with paper napkins! You can find the full tutorial on my blog by clicking here DIY Beautify.

Using scissors, cut out flowers from paper napkins. Don't worry if the whole flower shape isn't available, just cut out the interesting bits.

Napkins are layered, so carefully remove the plain white layer (there may be just one or even two) from the decorative piece.

Brush a little bit of decoupage medium like Mod Podge onto a plastic egg.

Lay flower on top and immediately brush a thin layer of decoupage medium on top of the flower. There will be some air bubbles. You can use a clean finger to gently smooth these out. Set eggs aside to dry. The egg carton is perfect!

Once dry, it's time to decorate with these DIY cottage eggs!

I used them all over my home, you can click here to see more ideas for thrifty Spring tablescape ideas

More of a question...Did you put a white napkin on it first and then the flower?

Super cute idea!!! Wonder if you could use colored plastic eggs for a backsplash-ish hue?? Thank you!!
